Dan has provided management and development services in senior housing since 1990, in addition to 15 years of hospitality management experience. He has consulted on or has been involved in the development, turnaround, and management of dozens of communities around the country.

 

Dan founded Hassan Management Services, now DBA Grand Senior Living, (GSL) in 2000. GSL owns, operates, develops, manages, and consults specifically in the senior housing industry. As CEO/President, Dan is responsible for leading the company and making strategic decisions, balancing growth and fiscal stewardship. Dan specializes in assisting clients and GSL to develop new senior living communities, from the initial concepts and financial modeling through stabilization and profitable exit strategies.

 

Dan received his BA from Emerson College, Boston, MA, and MBA from Suffolk University, Boston, MA.
