Executive Director - Washington, DC


Grand Senior Living is seeking candidates with strong leadership and team development skills to manage a new assisted living in Washington, DC. Abrams Assisted Living will be a (54) studio unit affordable AL facility located on The Parks at Walter Reed. Qualified applicants should possess:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Senior-level community management experience.
  • Special knowledge of Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related illnesses.
  • Five years experience in a similar operation.
  • A strong working knowledge of operational systems and departments, including; resident services and care, property maintenance, food services, purchasing, budgeting, basic accounting and financial management including Medicaid billing.
  • Be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
  • The ability to effectively direct staff and clearly communicate with residents and community partners is vital.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and report to owners and the management company on all business activities.
The position is responsible for management of Abrams Assisted Living and directs activities of the directors, staff and contracted service providers on behalf of the community. The community provides its residents with services and amenities to deliver a high-quality living environment that meets or exceeds all applicable standards, regulations and policies. The Executive Director is expected to provide on-site management oversight and assist as necessary to assure that staff are informed and properly supported at all times. It is expected that the Executive Director will perform community outreach and be engaged in other public relations activities to support the marketing effort to fill and sustain stabilized occupancy of the community. Health Services Director (Nurse Manager) - Bradford, VT


Margaret Pratt Community has an excellent opportunity for an RN with 5+ years of management or equivalent experience to oversee the Health Services Department in our Assisted Living and Memory Care Programs. The candidate should have a passion for working with seniors, and special knowledge of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Responsibilities include:

  • Resident assessments, care plans and case management
  • Quality assurance monitoring
  • Adherence to licensing regulations
  • Management of care staff
  • Management of electronic health records for all documentation
  • Management of medication administration program
Qualifications:
  • Long-term care experience
  • Proficiency with computer applications. The ability to utilize electronic health records is a critical component of the position.

Resident Services Assistant - Bradford, VT


Margaret Pratt Community is looking for dedicated, passionate, professional, and caring individuals for the Resident Services Assistant position. ALL SHIFTS | FULL-TIME and PART-TIME The RSA’s primary responsibility is completing delegated tasks associated with the hospitality programming needs of the residents of Margaret Pratt Community. Some tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Resident Services Director to develop and implement a schedule of social activities to strengthen and enhance the social, physical, and mental skills of the residents.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, greet and assist residents and visitors entering the building.
  • Assists residents onto and off community vehicles.
  • Clean resident apartments as needed through each week. This includes bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living/dining areas and floors.
  • Set or reset each dining table properly, as shown on the table setting layout.
  • Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and serve a complete meal to all residents in the dining room in a timely fashion.
  • Offers support and assistance to other departments as directed and needed.
Qualifications:
  • Positive fun attitude.
  • Able to work flexible hours to include every other weekend.
