Christopher Hassan

Director of Hospitality Services

Chris brings a deep understanding about the culture of customer service to GSL. In addition to years of restaurant experience, he studied hotel and restaurant management in Switzerland and spent several years with a luxury international hotel chain prior to joining the GSL team.


Chris knows how to create a guest service experience that is transferable to senior living, with a specific focus on developing the appropriate staff culture to deliver a consistent high-quality program in all levels of senior housing.


In the past few years, Chris has also been responsible for maximizing GSL’s brand and that of our client’s through strategic and engaging social media marketing. Chris has recently been developing social media programs for Marriott hotels in the Caribbean and Latin America.


He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Isenberg School of Management with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and special studies at The Culinary Arts Academy in Lucerne, Switzerland.
